Candle Safety & Care: The NOX Ritual Guide

To ensure your NOX sculptural candles burn beautifully and safely, we’ve gathered essential guidelines for every candle lover. Proper care not only extends the life of your candle but also ensures a clean, safe experience.

✅ General Safety Guidelines Warning: Always follow safety precautions. This product involves an open flame and may pose a fire hazard if not used properly.

Remove all decorative elements (dried flowers, glitter, etc.) before lighting the candle.

Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant, and stable surface, away from flammable objects.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Use in a well-ventilated room, but avoid drafts, fans, or air conditioning.

Do not move the candle while it is burning. Wait until the wax is fully cooled and solid.

✂️ Wick Maintenance & The Perfect Burn Proper wick care is the secret to a clean flame and preventing soot.

Trim the wick to 5–7 mm (1/4 inch) before each use.

For the first burn, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface to the edges. This creates a "memory pool" and prevents tunneling.

If the flame becomes too large or flickers excessively, extinguish the candle, let it cool, trim the wick, and then relight.
